A warm welcome to our institute for histology

We are an owner-run group practice for pathology based in Berlin Prenzlauer Berg. We carry out histological and cytological examinations across all specialties.

Pathology, as the study of disease, deals with the recognition and analysis of the changes in tissue and cells caused by illness. We analyse specimens containing tissue or cells from, for example, inflamed regions and, of course, tumours.

Maintaining a consistently high quality is important to us. Our well-trained staff, the use of modern laboratory technology and continuous internal quality controls and training guarantee you reports at a high standard.

To ensure reliable diagnostics, our institute uses not only standard examinations but also special stains and immunohistological procedures. Our reports are prepared according to the current TNM/UICC system in combination with the WHO classification and the working guidelines of the professional societies.
